Yoga teacher. Nature lover. Artist.

I've been called a "jack of all trades" for as long as I can remember. The kind of person that needs something to get done and will always find a way.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

I've always been a photographer to some degree. I got my first fancy DSLR camera (a classic Canon Rebel) when I was about 10 years old and would take pictures of my backyard, family, and pets. Unsurprisingly, they weren't great. Nevertheless I loved it and hey, you've gotta start somewhere. :)

I continued to practice photography, taking my friends senior photos and capturing family moments during the holidays. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2020 with a degree in music. I looked around and realized I had absolutely no job prospects because of the pandemic and had no clue what I really wanted to do with my life. At this point, I was comfortable taking portraits but didn't really know much about the technical side of a camera or hell, how to run a business.

My dear friend Rachael (Owner of Life's a Buch Kombucha) gave me the opportunity to shoot some photos for her brand. I used those to connect with some other local businesses and started getting sides gigs creating lifestyle and product photography. It was a meager income, but it was a start! Slowly, I started to build up a portfolio and make some connections around Colorado. I branched into weddings, fashion and anything I could get in front of my lens. I learned about the techniques of working in different lighting, explored editing styles, practiced posing (literally standing in the mirror and making different faces), and eventually dumped pretty much all of my (small, very small) savings into educational programs.

Between teaching yoga and practicing photography, my journey has taught me to slow down and savor each moment. I often find myself in awe during sessions because it feels surreal that anyone would trust me to hold and preserve these precious moments. My art focuses on the things that make us feel alive, the things that make us human, the things that bring us a little closer together. I'm not fixated on the predictable poses and fake smiles. I'm passionate about capturing what's real. Intimate, dirty, messy, it's all welcome here. Thanks for being here.

My favorite things...
